What Are They?
Functional Skills qualifications are equivalent to GCSEs. They focus on real life skills and are generally easier to study than other course options. They are also still accepted by many further education courses.

About Our Online Functional Skills Courses
Our academic year runs from September to June. We also offer 3 month intensive courses that allow you to complete your course faster. Exams are usually sat in June, however if students feel they are not ready they can sit their exams when they feel more content and confident.
What Is the Difference Between Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills
Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications are considered the equivalent to GCSEs, and make the perfect alternative for many students. However, if students are less confident or not ready to start at Level 2, they can start off with a Level 1 Functional Skills course which will prepare them. If you are unsure on the best option, please get in touch, we are always happy to help.
Exams for online Functional Skills courses can also be sat from the comfort of your own home.
